| Charlene Insley is an eclectic artist and has been working as an artist for over 20 years. She has owned four galleries, including three in New Orleans, and her art was carried in three galleries, in Kansas, Florida & Washington D.C., before that. Charlene was the Gallery Director for "All Amzie All the Time" art gallery on Royal Street in New Orleans.
Charlene's scientific illustration won an International competition to be displayed in the Bell Museum in Minnesota. Charlene has worked in almost every venue of art as her parallel career to fine art, including; layout artist, illustrator, display designer, display director, graphic artist and volunteer art teacher for adult mental patients.
Charlene worked as a Medical Illustrator for Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Washington, D.C. Her last staff position was as the Scientific Illustrator for the National Wildlife Health Research Center in Madison, WI.
Charlene is now dedicated to promoting some of the finest artists in the rich artistic culture of New Orleans and more actively pursuing her own art creation, as well.
